Obituary of Susan Leigh Armstrong Udell

Susan Leigh (Bennett) Armstrong Udell died Friday, August 25, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Susan was born May 8, 1951 to Robert Thompson and Edna Pauline (Ward) Bennett in Chicago, Illinois. Susan moved to Colorado Springs with her father in 1959 following the death of her mother. She lost her father the next year, and she and her younger brother, Steven Carl Bennett, were raised by their aunt and uncle, Shirley “Jess” and Janette (Bennett) Willard, who preceded her in death.Susan married Robert Howard Udell, who survives, January 12, 1968 in Colorado Springs. They had the following children, who all survive: Melissa Ann Udell, Deborah Leigh Udell (Vince Aquilino), Sarah Elizabeth Udell (Brent Williams, deceased), and Joshua Aaron Udell (Jennifer White). Susan is also survived by her brother, Steve Bennett; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Susan enjoyed reading, old movies, and video games.
