Obituary of Zachary "Zach" Taylor Yost

Zachary Taylor Yost, 31, of Colorado Springs, a kind and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away August 29, 2017. He was born April 30, 1986 in Aurora, the son of Kenneth Yost and Belinda Marshall. He attended Cherry Creek Schools and graduated from Eaglecrest High School in 2005. Zach was a lover of movies, video games, comics, and the Colorado Rockies. During his young life, he played baseball and was an avid skateboarder. He enjoyed snowboarding and skateboarding into adulthood. His gentle soul could melt the hearts of those around him, and though he battled many setbacks in his short life, he was a fighter throughout all hardships. His family and friends will always remember his infectious smile and his loving and caring personality.Zach is survived by his parents, Belinda (Ray) Marshall, and Kenneth (Caryn) Yost; as well as his brother, Tyler (Emily) Yost; sister, Ashley Marshall; nephew, Ezra Yost; and his grandmother, Gloria Priest. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Marian Yost, and grandfather, William Priest.
