Obituary of Gordon Chris Hayne
Gordon �Hayne, age 81, died on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at a Colorado Springs hospital following a sudden illness.Gordon was a retired Dental Lab Owner and Dental Prosthetic Technician who went out of his way to make sure everyone’s dentures fit perfect. Gordon had served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, co-worker, and friend.Gordon Chris Hayne was born on May 21, 1936 in Elbowoods, North Dakota to the late Fred P. and Rosella C. (Christianson) Hayne. The family soon moved to Poplar, Montana. He attended schools there and graduated from high school in Poplar. Gordon entered the United States Air Force on December 13, 1955 in Butte, Montana. He served in the reserves and was honorably discharged in 1961.He was a member of the Assiniboine and Sioux Nations and was also Norwegian. He loved making teeth and jewelry, and he had a terrific sense of humor. His nickname was "Trouble" (or "Gordo", "Gordhead", and "Pita").He was a kind, caring, and happy man who touched many hearts and was loved by so many more. He would help anyone in need, no matter who you were or if he knew you or not. He loved spending summer afternoons feeding geese at Monument Valley Park and spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gordon is survived by his son, Mark (Charmaine) Hayne of Fountain, Colorado; his sister, Marilyn Childs of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Private family services will be announced at a future date.� Memorials may be made in Gordon's memory to The Springs Funeral Services through they payment on the website. �He will be dearly missed and always remembered.� Rest in paradise, Gordon. “KEEP SMILING and THUMBS UP!!!!!:) WE LOVE YOU BUDDY.
