Obituary of James S. West

James S. West, 71, died on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Born in Colorado Springs on October 29, 1945 to Stanley Adelbert and Della Marie (Wright) West, James was raised in San Diego, California. In 1981, he moved back to Colorado Springs, where he remained until his death.James worked as a construction painter and inspector for many years. He was a longtime member of the Wesleyan Church and the VFW. Among his many hobbies, James most enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing, vintage cars, traveling, gardening, cheering on his San Diego Chargers, and his pets.
