Obituary of LTC Jon Earl Medina, USAF,

Jon passed away peacefully at his home in Rocklin, California on October 4, 2017 at the age of 76. Jon grew up in Santa Maria, California and graduated from Santa Maria High School Class of 59. After high school Jon was accepted to and graduated from the United States Air Force Academy Class of 63. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1984. Jon enjoyed playing baseball, golf, fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isadore and Grace (Barbettini) Medina.Jon is survived by his wife of 51 years, Renodia, his sons; Jeremy (Carlie) and Jonathan (Krissy) and grandsons; Brenden, Ethaniel, Mason, CJ and Isaac. He will be laid to rest at a graveside service, 1:00PM, Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Air Force Academy Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
