Obituary of William "Bill" Condon Thompson
William "Bill" Condon Thompson passed away at home on October 22, 2017 surrounded by family in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He struggled with Parkinson's for many years.He was born on August 17, 1942 to A. Robert and Betty Thompson in Eureka, California.Bill grew up in Colorado Springs, attended Colorado College and graduated from Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa. He was a member of the Manitou Springs Jaycees, Ute Pass Lions, Vice Chairman of Teller County Republicans, Area Governor of Toastmasters International, and a 25 year member of the National Ski Patrol (Pikes Peak, Broadmoor, Breckenridge and Ski Cooper). As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, windsurfing, golf, bicycling, and four-wheeling. Bill worked in a variety of roles but retired after 25 years with Farmers Insurance. He and his great sense of humor will be truly missed.Bill is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Larimer; father, A. Robert Thompson; and stepfather, Craig Larimer. Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Annalynn Thompson; daughter, Suzette (Robert) Farrar; son, Michael (Alicia) Thompson; sister, Carol McBride, brother, Craig (Irene) Larimer; four grandchildren, Daniel, Lewis, Aiden and Zaya; and many nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Pikes Peak Hospice or The Michael J.
