Obituary of Peter "Pete" August Coopman, Jr.

Peter "Pete" August Coopman, Jr. passed away suddenly on November 3, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Pete was born to Peter, Sr. and Leona (DeVooght) Coopman on March 4, 1955 in Rock Island, Illinois.�He retired last year from Federal Express while working as a courier. He enjoyed spending more time with his grandchildren; Madeline, Josh, Jake, Elleanor "Button", and Benjamin. He cherished all of them.�Pete was a passionate man with an amazing sense of humor. He had a love for his family, his friends and Native American culture. He was a friend to all who were fortunate enough to meet him and he will be missed dearly.Pete is survived by his wife, Carol; four sons, Anthony, Nicholas, Gregory and Avry; Pete is also survived by his father and stepmother, Pete, Sr. and Betty Coopman; three brothers; Tom, Joe, and Jim; and two sisters, Paula, and Julie.ALL ARE WELCOME.
