Very late to this news. I don't visit the LLS forums that much anymore, but Tex was always a great support during the earlier days of my husbands disease. Rest in Peace and thankyou for all your kindness.

I too am late to this news having searched for our beloved Tex on the new boards...only checking in infrequently on the new board. Tex and I went back a way..he was there when I first joined in 2003 when my son had his first bout with AML. Tex was fond of Hamish's spirit and blue hair...we shared so much, I learned gawd dang from him! To his loving family, thank you for sharing him with us...God Bless you Tex from your "mate" down under xxx Sandra McNally...aka choccrackles ( and Ham)

I'm so sad that Tex is gone. He was a truly amazing man and a wonderfully supportive friend to me through both my cancer journey and my husbands. He was always there for everyone on the LLS boards. I've not been active on the boards in a few years, but I've always thought about him and would check in on him periodically. Jeri from LLS

I cannot believe that Tex has gone. He was a tower of strength to me on the LLS forum when my husband Joel was suddenly diagnosed with AML in December 2015. His advice was a tremendous help to me during those dark and terrifying months. RIP Tex we will all miss you. Liz (from Israel)

I want to express my sincere condolences to Larry's family. I have been on the LLS forums for 11 years and have counted on Tex's wise counsel for me and others throughout these years. We had been on the forums long enough that we could joke back and forth and I will miss that camaraderie that we had. His gift of words and timing was often the key to giving someone input they needed at just the right point in their journey. I admired the fact that he had the ability to see that and knew how to deliver it. We will miss him on the boards but mostly we will miss him as a friend. Rest in peace my friend. There really are now words to say how much I appreciate all of the love and support Tex has given me over the years on the LLS boards. He helped me through some really dark times during our journey including losing my husband Dean 2 years ago and also my brother-in-law just a year later. Tex continued to support me as I worked through my grief and began my life's journey without my Dean. I really can't imagine going through these past 11 years without Tex and there will be a huge void in my heart and on the LLS boards. Even though we never met, I feel like I've lost one of my best friends. Sending prayers of strength and peace for his family during this difficult time. Rest In Peace my friend and enjoy the amazing beauty and wonder of Heaven above!!!

Dear relatives I am Ioanna from Greece. I met your beloved Larry from the forums of LLC although I am not a member. Every day I got strength by this forum and especially from postings of Tex. Unfortunately I lost my son 20years old last July 20 months after his transplant. All these months every day I was seeking postings of the forums and your Larry was the heart of them. I thought you should know that he touched many people's life more than you imagine. My respect and my love.
