Obituary of Larry Edwin Stolz
Larry Edwin Stolz, age 75, died on December 17, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on November 24, 1942 to Edwin and Olivia Adeline (Olsen) Stolz in Carrol, Iowa.Larry worked as a master barber and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.Growing up in Wyoming Larry learned the value of hard work and how to be a good man, which he carried on with him all his life. Larry worked very hard to make sure everyone in his family had what they needed. He loved playing golf and everything about golf. He was very proud to be a U.S. Marine, and love talking about all the things he got to see and do as a Marine. He spent many years traveling around the U.S. working as a construction worker and finally settling down in Colorado Springs. He also was a Master Barber which he loved to do as well, because he got to meet many of people and become very close to his customers who will also miss him very much. If any of you got to meet and know Larry you knew that he loved his family; he loved to tell you stories about his life, and he loved to teach others about things they were doing in life that he had already been through. Larry lived his life with love in his heart and no fear that nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it. He did a lot of traveling around the world, and he had a love of cars (especially Corvettes), love of golf, and love of his family. Larry will be very missed but always remembered as the great man, husband, and father that we know him as. We will always have love for him in our hearts just as he had the love in his heart for all of us. Larry is survived by his wife, Andrea Stolz; his children, Kerri Stolz, Heather Fredrickson, Shannon Wheeler, Christopher Wise, and Harry Wise III; his sister, Carol Lindsey; and ten grandchildren .He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Adeline Stolz; and by his son, Larry Edwin Stolz, Jr.Graveside Service, 1:00PM, Monday, January 8, 2018, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area "A", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
