Deena was a lovely woman who loved her husband and children very much. May she rest in peace and in the loving care of her Savior Jesus Christ.

Deena was a blessing to my son, Scott Crowell, and to us as she and Dean welcomed Scott into their family while he attended USAFA. I know they did this with many cadets...the food, warmth, hospitality, Christian mentoring and fun (and more food!) that Deena (and the whole family) showered down on Scott and others has been a blessing and a wonderful memory for me. God hold you all close. Katie Crowell Rader

Deena, we met in 1977 in Lubbock Texas, and had not seen each other in years, until we moved back to Colorado for retirement. We saw each other at the AFA football games, and you where battling cancer at that time. You were an inspiration to me, your trust in the Lord, and faith that He knew what was best for your life. God gave you the gift of a beautiful smile, a caring warm heart, and love for your family. God Bless your family and give them peace. You will be missed!

Deena was such a special person and a very welcoming friend while we were living in Colorado for a few years. I remember her as always smiling and never complaining. She always appreciated my visits and welcomed us into her home during our bible study. I was looking forward to seeing her when we return to Colorado and will miss her deeply.

To the family and friends, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. The Bible gives us hope that we will be reunited with our loved ones. Isaiah 26:19 says: " Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Until that time God can give us comfort. The Bible gives God's promise at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 which says: " Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." If you would like free Bible studies to bring you comfort, please ask any one of Jehovah's Witnesses to make arrangements.

What a beautiful woman, Mrs. Mills was. I am very sorry to read of your loss. With her accomplishments, her love and joys, she was an amazing woman! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, John 11:25, which says, "Jesus said to her: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved wife, mother, grandma and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org - healingwordsforu@gmail.com
