Obituary of Khari Ako Lewis

Sunrise: August 10, 1971Sunset: December 26, 2017Khari was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs. He graduated from Coronado High School in June 1989. He later attended IntelliTec College earning a Certificate in Phlebotomy.During his early years he loved to read comic books, becoming a collector of various comic book series. He loved to draw comic book characters and was an avid movie buff. Among his other hobbies were video/computer gaming and tuning in to watchthe weekly Broncos football games. Hanging out with friends and family was also a favorite pastime.Left to mourn his passing are his parents, William C. and Thelma J. Lewis; brother, Maracus Lewis of Greenville, TX; and a host of relatives and friends. Khari is preceded in death by his brother, Jelani A. Lewis. Khari will truly be missed.Services private.
