Obituary of Ruth Jacqueline "Jackie" Easton

Ruth Jacqueline "Jackie" (Rogers) Easton, 83, of Colorado Springs, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on December 30, 2017. Jackie was born in Boone, Colorado on August 12, 1934, the youngest of eleven to Oren and Fannie (Gosage) Rogers. She married Val Easton on July 6, 1958 in Colorado Springs, where they raised two beautiful children, Michael (Darlene) and Rae Ann. She is the grandmother of Daniel (Kimberly) and Michelle, and great-grandmother to Sophia Grace.Jackie loved bowling, playing cards, music, her Denver Broncos, creating and maintaining the family tree albums, and her daily morning devotional. She retired from Hewlett-Packard after twenty years to spend time traveling and enjoying time with family.�She is survived by her husband Val; two sisters, Vera Kay and Velda Ramsey of Pueblo, Colorado; daughter, Rae Ann; daughter-in-law, Darlene; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and various other relatives. Jackie is preceded in death by both parents; eight siblings; and son, Michael.Visitation, 9:00AM-10:00AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2226 North Corona Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907, followed by a private burial.
