Obituary of Edumenio "Eddie" Gilbert Aguilar, Jr.

Eddie went to his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. He was born in the oldest town of Colorado: San Luis, a Spanish settlement. �Eddie and his wife, Rosemary are the proud owners of El Taco Rey. He retired from civil service at the Air Force Academy. Eddie was a hard worker, a man of integrity, and a man of faith. His handshake was his word. All who knew him knew that he was a jokester and so much fun! His family and grandchildren were his pride and joy. �He is preceded in death by his parents, Edumenio and Natividad Aguilar, and his brother, Abie Aguilar. Eddie is survived by his wife, Rosemary Barela-Aguilar; and his six children, Edith Foster (Robert), Danny Aguilar (Carolina), Louella Aguilar, �Diana Aguilar-Marcarenas, Judy Aguilar-Allen and Jana Mitchell (Leaton).�Eddie is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; by his seven siblings, Virginia Sanchez, Betty Garcia, Delia Pacheco, Henry Aguilar, Donald Aguilar, Leo Aguilar, and Bernice Aguilar; and numerous nephews and nieces.
