Dennis Anthony Slattery, age 66, died on January 11, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born on June 22, 1951 to Paul Vincent and Winifred Marie (Norris) Slattery in Dodge City, Kansas.Dennis worked as a Customer Service Representative for Comcast and is a longtime Colorado Springs resident.Dennis married Cathy Ann Oswald on February 7, 1976 and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was an avid sci-fi fan and loved cooking for his family; especially chocolate chip cookies and fudge. Dennis also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.Dennis is survived by his wife, Cathy Slattery; two sons, David and Taylor Slattery; three daughters, Heather Slattery, Shannon (John) Graves, and Amanda Slattery; three brothers, Robert, Jerry, and Kelly Slattery; two sisters, Connie (John) Gartner, and Cheryl Slattery; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Visitation, 5:00PM - 7:00PM, Rosary immediately following, Tuesday, January 16, 2018, St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918.Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00AM, Wednesday, January 17, 2018, St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.The family, with gratitude, requests contributions to assist with funeral expenses, which can be made directly to The Springs Funeral Services.
