Obituary of Raymond Clayton Thomas

Raymond Clayton Thomas was born on December 14, 1956 in Norton, Virginia where he graduated from John I. Burton High School in 1975. From there he earned his associates degree in computer science from Bristol College in 1977, and then received his bachelors degree from the University of Colorado Technical College. Thomas was employed as a computer software engineer until 2004 when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident which left him in critical condition. He recovered from that although it left him disabled due to extensive heart and lung damage. Thomas enjoyed to volunteer at Goodwill, he also enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with his big family,�his daughter, and grandson. He was an amazing son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.�Thomas is survived by his two daughters, Myra Winters and TaijaRae Hill; his grandson, Izavion Z. Hill; his step-father, Thomas Rice; his sisters, Tiwana Thomas, A.Rene Newsome, and Sheila Anderson; his brothers, Ronald Thomas, Russell Rice, Tony Rice, Tommy Rice, and John Rice; also many amazing nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Annette T. Rice; and sister, Cherita D.
