Obituary of Frank H. Alexander
Frank H. Alexander of Colorado Springs died January 31, 2018. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 30, 1931 to Frank and Frances (Fatout) Alexander. He attended high school in Georgia and North Carolina, then graduated from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina with an Economics Degree. After graduation from Duke, he was commissioned in the United States Air Force and served oversees for two years. After discharge from the Air Force, Frank worked in sales with the Armstrong Company in Denver where he met Colorado native Altona "Toni" Fowler. Frank and Toni were married on August 17, 1957 in Canon City, Colorado and later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, Wichita, Kansas, and Jacksonville, Florida while he was with Armstrong.He had been a resident of Colorado Springs since 1969 and was retired from operating his own business forms company. He was a member and past president of the Broadmoor Rotary Club and was active in the Chamber of Commerce and the Broadmoor Community Church. He enjoyed travel, golf, playing the piano, and most of all, family.He is survived by his three children, Audrey (Chris) Weatherman, Doug (Louise) Alexander, and Mark (Erika) Alexander; and six grandchildren, Brian and Kelly Weatherman, Ben and Anna Alexander, and Jack and Elena Alexander, all of Littleton, Colorado.Memorial services to be determined at a later date.
