Obituary of Richard Marvin Garcia

Richard, 60, died on February 5, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many. He was born on October 7, 1957 in Denver, Colorado to Ross and Maria Dorothy (Deherrera) Garcia. He attended high school through the eleventh grade and later served in the United States Army. He eventually retired from being a forest firefighter after many years. Richard enjoyed playing football, basketball, and baseball. He also loved to hike and experience nature, and he loved the Denver Broncos. Most of all, Richard loved and cherished his family.He is survived by his wife, Rita Garcia; daughter, Shannon Garcia; son, Richard Garcia; grandchildren, Rhianna, Celeste, and Sarra; and sisters, Ruby and Celestina.
