Obituary of Richard Joseph Campbell
Richard Joseph Campbell was born on April 7, 1941 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin and died on April 24, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Dick graduated from Johnson High School in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1959, and from the Dunwoody Institute with an associate's degree in 1962.He was an avid fisherman, and had a keen interest in speed! He loved fast cars, fast boats, fast snow mobiles, and pushed their limits whenever he was able. He also love sports, especially those played by his children and grandchildren.Dick was a member of the St. Cloud Bassmasters, and the Montana Bassmasters.Dick is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra (nee: Hanson) Campbell; son, Scott (Celine) Campbell; daughter, Christine (Jill) Campbell; grandchildren, Tyler Campbell, Kathryn (Karl) Wegler, Benjamin Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Elijah Campbell; brother, James (Sandra) Campbell, and several loving nieces and nephews.Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Union Printers Home-Library, 101 South Union Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.Donations in Dick's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
