Obituary of Patti Sue Jury

Patti Sue Jury, age 54, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, surrounded by her family. Patti was born on January 16, 1964 and is survived by her parents, George and Phyllis Jury; her sisters, Tami (Cal) Cherrington, Lori (Ken) West, and Jill (Max) Guetz; and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her brother, George. Patti was a graduate of Wasson High School. Her favorite sports were volleyball and basketball. She also participated in track. Following graduation, Patti received a Sports Medicine Certification. She moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado and served as a Security Guard for the Sheraton Hotel and worked as an Office Assistant for B&K Distribution. Upon moving back to Colorado Springs, she became a successful Real Estate Appraiser. Her real passion for animals led her to start a Pet Sitting business, which she continued until her death. Patti was an avid fisherwoman and loved boating, camping, and the outdoors. She and her father went canoeing at the boundary waters in Canada. She was affectionately known as "Knucklehead, Patti" to her nieces and nephews.
