Obituary of Clarence Edward Cimino

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and uncle, Clarence Cimino.Clarence may have very well been the sweetest soul that ever walked this earth, and though our hearts are breaking at our tremendous loss, we cannot help but feel happy for him. Knowing that he is back with his loving wife, Mary, as well as all the rest of his family, that he has mourned tremendously for many years.Clarence was born to Bill and Rose Cimino on February 11, 1930 and was one of five siblings. He had three brothers, William Cimino, Harry Cimino, Dean (Barb) Cimino, and one sister, JoAnn (Leroy) Young. Clarence served in the Army where he excelled as a chef. He was married to his beautiful Mary Ann Humphrey for 59 years and has been, "not so patiently" waiting to be with her again, since her passing in 2012.As a young man, Clarence worked for the Broadmoor and then worked for the city of Colorado Springs as an auto body specialist until his retirement. Not yet ready to sit home all day, he then went to work for Chuck E. Cheese and worked there for another 20 years, sometimes even playing Santa Claus at Christmas-time. They even named a room after him!Clarence loved fishing, camping, building things, tinkering around the yard, cooking sometimes, crazy concoctions, that always tasted amazing, and most of all, spending time with his family. He loved drinking cold beer on Saturday nights with his brother Dean, up until about a month ago.He was preceded in death by both of his parents, and all of his siblings except for Dean Cimino. Clarence and Mary Ann were blessed with three daughters, Bev (Lee) Covey, Deborah (TA) Hall, and Rose (Reece) Miller. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Lisa (Jake), Brenton, Derek (Danielle) and Russel; three great grandchildren, Beth (Jimmy), Ashley and Bella, two great, great grandchildren, Addie and Kenzie; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.Not a day will go by that we will not miss this wonderful man that made our lives so very special, but we know that he is finally home with his Lord and in a very happy place.
