Obituary of Sgt Major Leon Alando Alston, U.S Army
Leon "Ace" Alston, was born May 13, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was called home on May 19, 2018. Leon Alston was a proud veteran, serving 29+ years, in the United States�Army. He served as a Green Beret and served three tours in Vietnam. The retired Garrison Sergeant Major of Fort Carson was highly decorated and respected.He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Katie Alston; brothers, Frank Jr., Willie and Harold.Leon is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Linda (Harding) Alston; son, Kenny; daughters, Jodi, Antinina, Cycily and DeAnn.
