Obituary of Clyde Leamon Garrison Jr.

Clyde L. Garrison Jr., passed away in peace on May 22, 2018 at the age of 72. An only child, he was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Sr. and Malvie Garrison.As a Colorado Springs native, Clyde graduated from William J. Palmer High School, received his bachelor's degree from UCCS and retired from Lockheed Martin, just shy of his 40th anniversary.Clyde enjoyed fishing and hiking with his family, debating life and politics over coffee, building Excel spreadsheets (to track everything!) and researching his next big purchase (he had a lifetime subscription to Consumer Reports!). He was a thoughtful, caring husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed.Clyde will be forever remembered as dear friend and husband to wife Caleen, loving father of daughter, Christy (Pamela VanOverbeke,), son Robert, and proud "Grampie" to Christian, Jaden, Avalynn, Eliza and Quinn.Memorial Service, 10:00AM, Saturday, June 2, 2018, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in Clyde's memory be made to the Parkinson Association of the Rockies (parkinsonrockies.org).
