Obituary of Vivian June Wahl
Vivian June Wahl, 79, passed away on June 6, 2018. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 40 years and was formerly a resident of Fredonia, North Dakota and San Jose, California. Vivian was an artist and a homemaker.Vivian was born on June 1, 1939 to Albert and Bertha (Bader) Woehl in McIntosh County, North Dakota.On June 1, 1958 she married Eugene Wahl in McIntosh County, North Dakota.Vivian was an artist and worked in many mediums. She was an avid reader and read mostly westerns and mysteries. Before she got sick, she sang soprano in the church choir.She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She attended Kulm High School and graduated in 1957.She was preceded in death by her son, Frederick Wahl; her parents, Albert and Bertha Woehl; and sister, Della Heller.Vivian is survived by her loving husband, Gene; her children: Greta (Chuck) Diede, Mike Wahl, and numerous adopted/foster children; sister, Sharon (Norman) Denning; thirty grandchildren and adopted/foster grandchildren.Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Saturday, June 16, 2018, Bethel Lutheran Church, 4925 Farmingdale Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917.
