Obituary of Adam George Nickerson
Adam was born at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, to Marilyn (Pickett) Nickerson and David Nickerson. �Adam attended Jackson Elementary School, West Middle School, and Coronado High School. Adam was very charismatic, likable and fun to be around. He was also very athletic in multiple sports and was a standout player for the Coronado High soccer team. �He was part owner of the Nickerson family-owned Boulder Street Coffee Roasters coffee shop for ten years. He later worked for Whole Foods for a number of years and his final job was doing food service at Peak View Behavioral Hospital. �He enjoyed daily interaction with coworkers and clients of the hospital, and trying to make everyone feel valued while showing understanding and compassion. �Adam is survived by daughters, Bailey Visscher-Nickerson and Avery Nickerson; his father, David Nickerson; stepmother, Judy; brother, Jason and his wife, Brady, and their children, Ash and Reese; Aunt Jan and her husband Max White of Oklahoma City; and many relatives in Oklahoma, Nebraska and Florida.
