Obituary of Jacob "Jake" Allen Brill
Jake was a loving free spirit that made the most of every day. He was working at Trax Construction as an asphalt laborer. His enthusiasm for life was often seen through his love of the outdoors to include hunting, fishing, and snowboarding. His laughter and smile could warm your heart and warm even the coldest of rooms. His charm and fun loving attitude can never be replaced and will be missed by all who knew him. Jake loved his mom, dad, and two sisters, Brook and Jordan, with all he had. He brought so much happiness into their lives from the day he was born. His love for the beauty in the world, "true colors" is seen through his many beautiful paintings. His goal he stated in a planner we found read this: "I have a goal...to touch the world with my style of color. I don't have a clue how to get there but...I have a will. Never give up bud. You could change the world!" Jake saw the best in everyone and we saw the best in him. Jake is survived by his father and mother, Kerry and Kathy Brill; two sisters, Brook (Justin) Morris and Jordan (Dean) Yost; nephew, Layne Morris; niece, Hayden Morris; grandparents, James and Leila Humes, and Bob and Joyce Modie; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He will forever be in our heart; our son, our brother, our uncle, our cousin, our grandson, and a friend to everyone. We love you!Memorial Service, 1:00PM, Thursday, August 2, 2018, Woodmen Valley Chapel - Rockrimmon Campus, 290 East Woodmen Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919.
