Cora Villanueva Tacluyan, 72, died on August 11, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born on June 28, 1946 in Maragondon, Cavite, Philippines to Juanito and Marina (Manalo) Villanueva.Cora retired as a teacher and had worked for Ladislao Diwa Elementary School in Cavite City, Philippines.Cora was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and of El Shaddai.She is preceded in death by her husband, Andresito Gustillo Tacluyan; her mother and father; and her brother.Cora is survived by two daughters, Hyesu (Jason) Lee of Seoul, South Korea and Andresita (Jonas) Gonzales of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister-in-law, Lorna Villanueva; two brothers, Oscar Villanueva of Maragondon, Cavite, Philippines and Ernie (Maria Loudes) Dino of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; a sister, Elvira (Renato) Mancilla of Noveleta, Cavite, Philippines; and seven grandchildren.Visitation, 4:00PM-7:00PM, Friday, August 31, 2018, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.Rosary immediately following.Interment, to be determined at a later date, Maragondon Roman Catholic Cemetery, Maragondon, Cavite, Philippines.Contributions may be made in Cora's memory to the family to assist in funeral expenses.
