Obituary of Akemi Theresa McGlothlin

Akemi McGlothlin was born on August 2, 1936 in Japan.� She lived a full and adventurous life with her husband, General William C. McGlothlin.� She passed away on August 18, 2018 at her home in Lewisville, Texas, with her faithful companion, Daisy, right by her side.�Akemi was preceded in death by her dear parents and adoring husband, General McGlothlin.�Ms. McGlothlin is survived by her children; Christopher Nelson of San Antonio, Mary Brown of San Antonio, Charles Nelson of Dumas, Thomas Nelson of Lewisville, Violet Horn of Bandera and William McGlothlin of Lincoln, Nebraska.�Akemi's pride and joy were her twelve grandchildren and�her great-grandchildren.Graveside Service, 1:30PM, Monday, August 27, 2018, United States Air Force Academy Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80841.
