Barbara Torres-Alvarez, 90, died on August 30, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born on September 1, 1927 to Joseph and Anna Gr�nwald in Eben im Pongau, Austria.Barbara worked in retail as a Saleswoman. She was an avid gardener and gifted with an amazing green thumb, and she enjoyed gambling at Cripple Creek. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.Barbara met her beloved husband, William, at Mr. G's Country-Western Bar off of Platte Avenue.She is preceded in death by her father and mother; two brothers, Joseph and Franz Gr�nwald; and three sisters, Anna Hippesroither, Monica Ladinger, and Maria Wieser.Barbara is survived by her husband, William Torres-Alvarez; a son, Robert J. Gr�nwald of Germany; two daughters, Barbara J. Matz of Colorado Springs and Elizabeth Klein of Austria; three sisters, Erika Sifkovits, Sigried Obersteiner, and Loisy Zeppezauer; grandchildren, Gilbert Ray Ortiz, Robert J. Ortiz, Michael Gr�nwald, Christian Gr�nwald, Susanna Klein, and Jason B. Moody; and great-grandchildren, Chelsie Anne Roth, Dakota B. Moody, Guido J.E. Klein, and Vincent P.A.
