Obituary of Kimberly Sue Shockley

Kim Shockley, age 62, of Colorado Springs passed away peacefully on October 13, 2018 at Pikes Peak Hospice. She was born in South Charleston, West Virginia on December 1, 1955 to the late Herbert H. Craigo and Betty J. Craigo.Kim was a long time resident of Colorado Springs, although she grew up an "Army Brat" and lived all over the world.She was a hotel manager for the first half of her career. However, her passion and joy came from her daughter, Emily Shockley. She was Kim's inspiration to become a Registered Nurse at the age of 40, where she worked at Penrose Hospital in the Med/Surg area and then later in Human Resources and Education Resources.Kim was an exceptional mother and the greatest friend, she had strong faith and love for our Lord, Jesus Christ. Adored by all who knew her, Kim will be missed and lovingly remembered by the countless lives she has touched. Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Karen Craigo (Texas) and Karla Hayes (West Virginia).
