Brother Pete. I remember our first trip to Las Vegas. We had my friend Jim Ciarletta, from Lynn with us. We went there to see a couple of Entertainers (Bill & Deedy) we new from our area and took your 1955 yellow and white Chevy. We got in around 5.am and went directly to the El Cortez where they were going to play. Since we were early we hit up on the slot machines and within 1/2 hour you hit your machine for $100 Jim hit for $25 and I hit for $10. Well we manage to survive the day and night. The next day around noon we were just about out of cash. Just enough for gas, a loaf of bread and some baloney for sandwiches. I can't even remember if we saw Bill and Deedy but we had a great time and made it back safely to L.A. safely. This was around 1957-58. I can't believe seeing you in front of that Wonder Bread truck. First time for me. I was the one who got you the job at Hostess cup cakes in L.A. which is a branch of Wonder bread at the time and enabled you to start a new life in Colorado. My deep condolences and prayers to all. Brother Joe.

Uncle Pete, you were one in a million! Thank you for all the stories of you and dad. When I was at your house visiting, it seemed like I never left mine. When at home, talking to dad, I thought I was with you! I will never forget your laugh, generosity to family and friends, especially your famous pizza recipe. I still have my recording of the Candy Man that you made in a sound studio! My best memory is the day we all took a horseback ride through Garden of the Gods with that crazy ramrod "Yucca." I thought he was gonna kill us, going over boulders like Spider-Man! Your comment was, " That guy must have been kicked in the head one too many times!" I am very blessed to be a Saraceno, and hope to carry on the legacy of one from the "Greatest Generation." Love you forever, Rosemarie

Dearest Uncle, My memories include your smile and laugh. Steaks bbq out on the deck; home grown raspberries (I never liked them until then); you playing the piano with great joy ; bear hugs; the temptation to stop at a yard sale on Wendy's wedding day! The huge care package with tons of goodies from Hostess; and last but not least our "game" of quarters....I got you last!! I love you and look forward to seeing you again.

We chose these flowers because they represent Uncle Pete's description of Auntie Gerry when he first met her. She had long dark hair and was wearing a bright yellow dress.!
