Obituary of Elfriede Emma Nolan

Elfriede Emma Nolan, 80, died December 10, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Elfriede was born February 21, 1938 in Amberg, Germany to Karl and Magdalene (Bruckner) Zutter.She grew up in Landstuhl, Germany. She spent a lot of time traveling with her children and grandchildren frequently to Germany and lived in many states through the military from Alaska, Virginia and California, before settling in Colorado Springs. She and her husband loved the mountains and spent a lot of time teaching their grandchildren how to ski and enjoying times with friends. Elfriede loved her family and spending time with her great-grandchildren. She also very much enjoyed china painting, sewing and cooking authentic German food for her friends and family. She had a strong faith and Christmas was her favorite time of year to spend with family and celebrate the birth of her Lord Jesus.She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a member of the New Life Church.She rejoins her parents; husband, Bill; sister, Trudy; and brother Karl in heaven.Friedel is survived by her daughter, Ann (Bill) Tillman; sons, Steven Giles, Bill (Didi) Nolan; granddaughters, Krista (Luke) Lopez, Mandy (Barry) Maranville, Sheena (Nathan) Truex, Barbara Ann Nolan; grandsons, Bobby (Sydney) Tillman, Chuck Tillman, Jacob Giles, Matthew Giles, Max Nolan, Isaac Giles; and eleven great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Kamryn, William, David, Ava, Nora, Kemper, Kolt, Emmett, Elly and Braxton; sisters, Helga and Inga.Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Friday, December 14, 2018, New Life Church World Prayer Center, 11005 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80921.Inurnment, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, at a later date.
