Obituary of SSgt Leopaldo "Leo" Gallo Perez, USAF,

Leo G. Perez came to the end of his journey December 11, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born September 14, 1934 in Texas to Leo and Angelica (Gallo) Perez.Leo served for twenty five years in the Marines and in the U.S. Air Force.He was an awesome father, grandfather and uncle. Leo was an amazing giving soul who always had a joke and a smile if he knew you. He will be greatly missed. Leo loved children, animals and the outdoors. He was a diehard Bronco's fan, Doo Wop Gold, with a love of Elvis and John Wayne.He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Lorraine Florence Perez.Leo is survived by his daughter, Wauneeta H. and her wife Misty Perez; grandson, Nickolas (Rosalie) Walker; granddaughter, Lorileigh Perez-Peterson and her husband. Great-grandsons, Draven Leo Walker, Bryan Grimsley, Nicholas Perez-Johnson, and Ian Peterson; great-granddaughter, Deana Perez; sister, Irma (Jesse) Mun�z; and nieces Sandra and Cynthia.Services held are by invitation only, please contact the family.Contributions in Leo's memory may be made to The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
