Sandra L. Bortz, 77, died on January 12, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born on June 5, 1941 in Homestation, Pennsylvania to Samuel Edward and Velma Zula (Byer) Wissinger.Sandra married Richard L. Bortz at the age of 16 and spent twenty-one years with Richard during his Air Force career. She was married to Richard for sixty-one years and was a loving mother and housewife.Sandra loved the mountains and wildlife, especially deer and bear; bears being her favorite animal.She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Bortz; four sons, Gary L. Bortz, Jeffrey A. Bortz, Gregory S. Bortz and Jason E. Bortz; daughter, Laura A.
