Obituary of Owen "Ken" Kenneth Whitney

Owen "Ken" Kenneth Whitney will be sadly missed.He was born on November 5, 1930 to Kenneth B. and Letha F. (Panchot) Whitney in Canon City, Colorado.Ken died on January 20, 2019 at the age of 88 from complications due to Alzheimer's in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was a Colorado Springs resident for fifty-six years and Woodland Park resident for eleven years.Ken was a licensed architect mentor to many young architects and was Chief Architect for Higgenbotham, Nakota and Muir, ITT, Muir and Associates, Charles L.T. Smith and Associates, and AIA Architects, designing many hospitals and schools.He is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Olive Whitney; and his sons, Anthony Scott Whitney and Alan Todd Whitney.Ken is survived by his daughter, Debra K.
