Linda, my second Mom as a kid. My heart breaks for my "sisters", Michelle, Margie and Sherrie and of course my second Dad, Walt. (Not to forget the rest of Linda's "clan" of many grandkids and great grandbabies)! I love you ALL and am so, so very sorry for your loss. Linda always twinkled and had a beautiful smile. Always. She and Walt loved each other deeply and firmly. Frequently I saw them holding hands like sweethearts. Her heart belonged to Jesus Christ and her passion for Him allowed her to love and serve people beautifully and seemingly effortlessly, though it took much time and work. She was a bright star in this world, and I miss her deeply.

We had so many fun times together eating at Culver's, Freddie's or Country Buffet, and then playing cards - Hand and Foot or sometimes Nickels - with our hubbies!! I'm gonna miss you as my card partner and friend... And all our times together in Ladies Bible Study on Wednesday mornings... Linda was always such a blessing and inspiration to us!!

My Gram was one of a kind. I had the honor of being raised by her. There are no words to express the absence I feel without her around. I have had the honor of helping take care of her the last 3 years. I was living in Oregon at the time and when I was told of her dementia, I came home with no hesitation, and I am so thankful for all the time spent. There are countless memories, and many stories I could tell, but I think each person in her life can say she was very special. They don't make grandmas like her anymore. I miss her so very much, but I know she is in heaven looking down at us. I will forever carry on her legacy....

Linda Sue and Walt always made it a point to look us up when they came to Lewistown while visiting family here and attending class reunions. She and my Dad were first cousins and she was close to my grandmother as she was growing up. I heard stories about Linda Sue and brother Larry I don't think they knew I had heard. She will be missed but I am happy she is free from pain.

Linda and I spent many times together sitting in lawn chairs and cheering on some special softball players. Warm, funny and sweet. I miss those days but am sure she is attending some softball games in Heaven. She is a Special Angel.
