Obituary of Alexandra "Lexie" Drew Williams

Alexandra "Lexie" Drew Williams, 19, died on February 18, 2019 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.She was born on August 7, 1999 in Grand Blanc, Michigan to Drew and Mary Beth (Korioth) Williams.Lexie worked the front counter of Chick-Fil-A Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and at a CFA store in Wilmington, North Carolina. The work was demanding at times, but it gave Lexie a chance to do what she loved, serving and caring for people. Lexie's heart was huge. She was always available to her friends and family, listening and loving. Lexie often had several conversations going over various messaging tools, as she listened to her friends and shared her love with them. Lexie was the most unselfish person we've known. She was always looking out for others before herself. She went through some difficult times in her short life, but even by the age of nineteen she had learned how to let those things refine her rather than destroy her. She was always - always - wise beyond her years.As a child, Lexie was the comic relief, the joy, the bright side in every bad situation, the best friend she could possibly be. All of that just grew more golden as she got older. She loved dogs and wanted to work with them in any capacity she could. Wolves were a bit of a passion for her and she knew more about them than anyone in the world, at least our world. She was undoubtedly one of the most loyal people we know, and ALWAYS stood by each of us no matter what.
