Obituary of Shirley Dean Butler

Shirley Butler, age 83, passed away on March 4, 2019 at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a retired clerical assistant for the housing authority. She also was a beloved sister, aunt, great aunt and friend.Shirley was born on August 9, 1935 in Safford, Arizona to the late Andrew and Lola (Norton) Talley. After high school, she worked for the California Housing Authority for many years, retired and moved to Colorado Springs in 1998.She was an avid bowler and bowled in a league at Harmony Bowl. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and trips to Cripple Creek.Shirley is survived by her brother, David Talley of Colorado Springs; her nephew, Robert (Penny) Talley; and her great-niece, Rebecca (Steven) Konen.A memorial service for Shirley will be announced at a future date.
