I will miss Natalie very much. She would always drop what she was doing to help me with work related problems, so I could get on with my tasks. I miss running into her on Academy Blvd. in her Volt on our way to work. I would watch her eating her breakfast at the stop lights. She was really hard to keep up with and often pulled into the parking lot before I did. I will miss her laugh and the sharing of remodeling stories. Steven Shane

With deepest sympathy to Buzz, Jacob, and Nick. Natalie loved her family so much. She expressed to me many times how much she loved her sons and grandchildren - how very proud she was of them. I miss her so much. Our phone chats while she was at work, dinners on Saturdays, mochas, and shopping. She also introduced me to Science of Mind Religion - changed my life for the better. She was the first one to become my friend in "the group" and I'll never forget that. But... that was Natalie, just to love and accept you for who you were! A Dominican Sister shared this quote with me when I lost my father-in-law and I found it very comforting. It's by Detrich Bonhoeffer: "Nothing can make up for the absence of someone we love, and it would be wrong to try and find a substitute; we must simply hold out and see it through. That sounds very hard at first, but at the same time it is a great consolation, for the gap, as long as it remains unfilled, preserves the bond between us. It is nonsense to say that God fills the gap; God doesn't fill it, but on the contrary, keeps it empty and so helps to keep alive our former communication with each other. Even at the cost of pain." I am so sad at the loss of this beautiful woman. Condolences to all her family and friends. I had so much fun with her back in the day. One time she called and said "Hey want to take some classes with me at the Science of the Mind center.?" We did it all 13 weeks. It was so wonderful to share that with her. We had lots of fun.
