it's odd how long someone stays in your heart. we were never close or anything yet i still watched her grow up. i'd do anything to go back to the last time i saw her when she was my stand partner in honor orchestra and tell her how much i care about her. rest in peace. you'll always be missed.

I've been coming back to this page ever so often and have felt so saddened and sentimental all at once. Makenna and I became friends at church and I stopped going there after I went to her funeral. I write about her all the time, I never got to see where our friendship would have gone but I'm so thankful for the time I did get to know her. I think about her all the time, and it's so unfortunate that my last memory was at her funeral but I'm always reminded of when we helped hide Easter Eggs for the kids at church, she was so happy to help Scarlett and the other little kids. I miss her, and hope nothing but the best for her family moving forward

It's been one year since we lost Makenna. I wasn't best friends with Makenna and I didn't know honestly anything personal about her, but I guess that the beauty of classmates; you get to know the person despite not knowing the person. Every class 1-7 was with each other. Every class I was one seat away from her whether that be horizontal or diagonal. Everyday I waited to hear her speak, she was always so passionate about what she loved. Some days it would be Harry Potter other days it was Hamilton. She was so smart, so fun, so creative. She was a sweet girl. I miss her, I truly do. I wish I could take back my knowledge of her passing u til her family was ready to announce it for I found out before. I hope the family is doing well and I know that things are forever changed due to Makennas passing but she will truly and effortlessly be in our hearts. Until we meet again Makenna, you will forever be loved ❤️
