Obituary of Robin Toni Bell-Krisak
Robin Bell-Krisak left us last weekend.Just sixty years old, Robin dearly loved her only daughter; Jessica Bell-Knapp. Jessie gave Robin a grandson named Christopher - everyone needs a delightful, strong, kind and clever grandson.Unfortunately Chris couldn't make it home for the memorial because he is in the Navy, based in Hawaii and serving on the USS North Carolina, a submarine.Robin graduated from Palmer High School. She became a talented hair stylist, but she then took a turn in the opposite direction! From the sweet-smelling, feminine environment of the beauty salon, Robin started training to be a pipe-fitterone of the few women in the country to do so. She joined Pipefitter Local 58 and worked ALOT of six or more day workweeks and ten or more hours a day. She worked for years, lots of it overtime, to get the Pueblo Power Plant going. So if you live in Pueblo county you have my sister to thank for electricity. Robin and mom bought a house on the west side and then she bought herself a Harley-Davidsonand that was back in the day before everybody was doing it.Robin was a talented guitarist - but what she really excelled at was singing. She sang like an angel. She made gorgeous stained glass window hangings and she followed in mom's footsteps by volunteering at Terros. Terros was a twenty-four hour hotline for troubled people.Robin always wanted to help people and animals. She worked hard, for as long as she could. She adored our mother. We will miss her ALOT.
