Obituary of James "Jim" Richard Lucas

James "Jim" Richard Lucas, 75, passed away May 14, 2019 surrounded by his family in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Jim was a loving husband, father, brother, and papa. His kindness, consideration, and humor touched the lives of everyone who knew him.�He was born August 4, 1943 in Saint Louis, Missouri. After serving in the U.S. Army in Germany, he returned home and graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Business Management. On December 6, 1974, he married Millie Reed, which was the start of their 44 year union together. He worked in sales for over 30 years in Nebraska and Colorado. After retiring in 2008, he embarked on his second and favorite career; caring for his two oldest grandchildren for over five years.�He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Bunten; father, Frank Lucas; and sister, JoAnn Lucas.
