Obituary of Col. Darren Adam Easton, U.S. Air Force

Col. Darren Adam Easton, U.S. Air Force, (Ret.), 48, of Manassas, Virginia; formerly of Spring, Texas, passed away May 15, 2019. He was the beloved husband of 25 years to Christi "Joanna" Easton; and loving father of Kyra Easton, Camille Easton, and Kyle Easton; adored son of Clarence "Bill" and Paula Easton; a dear brother of Elise (Kevin) Caddenhead, Eric (Julie) Easton, and Andrew (Kymberly) Easton; also a cherished son-in-law of Vivian Chaney; and devoted uncle of 13 nieces and nephews.Darren was a 1992 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He proudly served our country for 25 years across six continents. Darren served as a helicopter pilot; flying a UH1N for both the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps. He also spoke fluent French, having completed the U.S. Army Special Forces Language Course. Darren was always positive and encouraging, caring and selfless. He was true to his calling.He attended Grace Baptist Church in Woodbridge, Virginia. His passion for his family was the most important aspect in his life. They loved spending time together outdoors and exploring new places. Darren's family and friends adored his sense of humor and smile, which always brightened up the room.Services will be held in Woodbridge, VA and at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Military friends are encouraged to attend in Colorado if possible.
