Sallie Tyson, 95, died on May 22, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born on May 2, 1923 to William Rooney and Ola (Atkinson) Meeks in Cobb County, Georgia.Sallie was a forklift operator for a fruit packaging company.She is preceded in death by her husband, Ross William Tyson; parents, William Rooney Meeks and Ola Meeks.Sallie is survived by her daughters, Balda Welsh, Teresa Steinert, Dedra Tyson, Tammy Hostetler; and sons, Vaughn Tyson and Gene Tyson.
