Obituary of Neil Roger Rolf

Neil R. Rolf, 40, passed away suddenly June 6, 2019 at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born October 21, 1978 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs and was a life-long area resident. Neil graduated from Fountain-Ft. Carson High School in 1997. His early artistic skills translated well later in life as a skilled craftsman and finish carpenter. He cherished his time fishing and foraging wild blueberries on Pikes Peak. His big heart and willingness to help others was no less apparent in his selfless devotion to his family and children. His caring often extended to co-workers and others less fortunate, or anyone that had a need. Neil had a special place amongst the six siblings, including his twin, Allen. He cherished his role as a father, husband and son. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Rolf; and maternal and paternal grandparents. Neil is survived by his mother and step-father, Sandy and Dave Coalson; wife, Denise; four children, Kaylee Northrop, Elizabeth, Joseph and Samuel Rolf; three sisters, Amy Rolf, Shannon Rolf and fiancee, Ralph Black, Jr. and Janell (Ontricio) Mitchell; two brothers, Clinton (Bobbie) Rolf and Allen (Jodi) Rolf; two step-brothers, Ross and Brandon Coalson; 14 nephews and nieces; uncles, David Crosby and Matt Maselli; in-laws, John and Sandra Mira; and numerous cousins both in Colorado and Ohio.
