Obituary of Tracy Ann Wilson

Tracy Ann Wilson was born Tracy Ann Brown on July 31, 1966, in Wiesbaden, Germany. She is the beloved daughter of Melvyn and Christel Schrader Brown.Tracy passed away peacefully at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado in the early morning of June 7, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. She had an endlessly kind soul and a powerful love.Raised a proud military daughter, Tracy had already criss-crossed the world when she met David Choate Wilson, whom she married on July 16, 1995. Together they were embraced by the U.S. Air Force, raised two amazing children, and lived in five different time zones on two continents. Choate and Tracy finding each other was the best thing that could ever have happened to either of them. Together they made the world a better place. Tracy will be deeply missed by her adoring children, Forest Reiley Rill Wilson and Aarin Raney Wilson, whom she taught to be kind, compassionate, creative, adventurous, loving and strong. She also leaves behind a wonderful cat, Little Dude; and dog, Piper. She is survived by her loving father, Melvyn Raney Brown; step-mother, Helen Marie Phillips Brown; her sisters, Yvonne Harper, Kim (Dave) Leaming, Monica (Jim) Aranci; step-sister, Susan (Tim) Schisler; her sisters-in-law, Kim Brown and Deirdre (David Rose) Wilson; along with numerous dear nieces and nephews - all of whom will remember her always for her warmth, energy and caring heart.Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Christel Schrader Brown; and her brother, Robert Guy Brown. She took immense pride in advanced education. She worked tirelessly to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Psychology, and her Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She was endlessly committed to helping young military wives adapt and thrive in their new and uniquely challenging environment. Tracy's love for life was boundless. She never ceased to revel in the wonders of nature, having known the secrets of the oceans and heard the soft whispers of the mountains. Her creativity and imagination may have been grander still though. This was genuinely reflected in her pure delight from art and music, which she highlighted as the Author of the book "Legends of the Seakorn". Tracy generously shared this bounty of beauty and love from inside of her with the world - yet all of these loves paled next to the love she had for her family.Funeral Service, 11:00AM, Friday, June 28, 2019, Peterson Air Force Base Chapel, 455 Vincent Street, Peterson AFB, Colorado 80914.
