Obituary of MSgt Stanley Tsutomu Sakamoto, USAF,

Stanley Tsutomu Sakamoto, 58, died July 29, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a resident of Colorado Springs and Wahiawa, Hawaii.He was born February 14, 1961 to Ernest Yoshio and Hanako (Kodama) Sakamoto in Tachikawa, Japan. Stanley graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force (USAF) as a Trumpeter and was stationed in Riverside, California; Sembach, Germany; Tokyo, Japan; and with the United States Air Force Academy Band in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After retiring from the Air Force, he continued his service to the USAF as a Sound Engineer and Theater Specialist for Arnold Hall at the USAFA. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Condes Sakamoto; daughter, Christiana "Iana" Marithe Condes; son, Christian "Xavier" Dagudag; parents, Ernest and Hanako Sakamoto; sister, Helen Shima; and nephew, Jonathan Shima.Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Friday, August 2, 2019, USAFA Protestant Cadet Chapel, 2306 Sijan Drive, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado 80840.
