Obituary of Norma Jean Maize
Norma Jean (Spirlark-King) Maize, 64, died August 27, 2019 in Peyton, Colorado.She was born December 27, 1954 in Waco, Texas.Norma is the daughter of Martha Lee Thomas (Spirlark) and Bennie Harris. She is the eighth child of ten siblings, and she is the baby girl of the bunch. This small city woman had a fiery spirit that was unafraid of hard work. Yet, she carried herself with elegance and style. Norma stated that her greatest achievement was raising her seven children. Norma dedicated most of her young life raising her children. She put her education and dreams on hold to provide a better life for her kids. There were points in her life that she was the sole provider of her household. Norma acquired an associate degree in business management in 1993 at McLennan Community College once her children were old enough to fend for themselves. This led her into a career of sales management. Norma was lover and strong believer of the word of GOD. She completed Victorious Believers Bible School (VBBS) in 2012 and completed Henani bible course in 2014. She shared her teaching and faith to all those who would listen, especially to her children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burns Maize.Norma is survived by her children, Anthony, Jermaine, Charles, Travis, Robert "R", Juanita and Irma "Rosie"; and her siblings, Florence, Murtis, Olivia, Chester and Bennie "Brotherman".
