Obituary of Karen Marie Huxtable
Karen was born in North Hollywood, California where she lived through her high school years. Karen spent a majority of her life in Arvada, Colorado.�She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.While attending Brigham Young University Karen was married to Hugh M. Huxtable.�They were married for fifty-three years. Upon her graduation from BYU in 1967, Karen taught elementary school in California, Oklahoma and Germany at an American elementary school.�This was at a time her husband was in the military and stationed in Germany.� Upon returning to the United States, Karen taught for a school of disadvantaged juvenile boys. Karen loved teaching, church activities and raising her three children.� Karen had Multiple Sclerosis for thirty-eight years, all the time raising her family with love and compassion.�Karen was upbeat about living and enjoyed visits from friends and family.�She especially enjoyed being around her seven grandchildren. In addition to her seven grandchildren,�Karen is survived by her husband, Hugh M. Huxtable; daughter, Sarah J. Finley; two sons, Daniel H. and Thomas S.
