Obituary of Daniel Patrick Uffelman

Daniel Patrick Uffelman was born March 11, 1984 in Falls Church, Virginia and passed away November 5, 2019 in Aurora, Colorado at the age of 35. A resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Daniel is survived by his wife Molly; sons Logan Uffelman and Cameron Reimers; daughter Maddie Reimers; his parents Ken and Cheryl Uffelman; brothers, Kevin and Michael; parents-in-law, Mike and Barbara Anders, brother and sister in-law Ben and Camille Anders.Daniel attended Oakton High School in Vienna, Virginia and Purdue University where he received a B.S and M.S in Aerospace Engineering. He moved to Colorado in 2008, where he was an engineer at Northrop Grumman.Daniel was an avid football, basketball, baseball, and hockey fan, following the Purdue Boilermakers, Baltimore Orioles, and Washington Capitals. He was intellectually curious and quick-witted. He also was an adventurous cook, an avid Star Wars fan and lover of all things pizza. He was a devoted father who could keep his daughter in constant fits of giggles with his creative take on barbies then turn around and have serious discussions about space exploration with his son followed by silly noises with his baby. He invented games, characters and stories with his amazing imagination that all of his children will forever cherish. Daniel was also devoted to his rescue dog Mackey who was a lost soul until they found each other.
