We meet people during our time here on earth, and most are in our lives for a season. I was blessed to have met some pretty amazing people during a season that got me to Colorado Springs. It is where I met Stevie and his family, and it didn't take me long to know that he was a great guy who loved his wife and sons more than anything. His passion for basketball showed in his eyes. His support of the game and his sons was like no other. His love for his wife, Mary, was truly pure. I didn't get to know Stevie and his family like many did, but I witnessed all that in that one season of my life. I was truly heart broken when I heard of his passing. I can only imagine the pain his family is going through and I pray that memories of Stevie bring you some comfort in the days ahead. God bless you Mary, Bryce, Tyler, Tynan, Renea, and Stevie's grandchildren and his parents. My prayers are with you all and my sincerest condolences to all of Stevie's family and friends.
